Leiter’s personality is initially portrayed as very chilled, with a lovely warm sense of humour, however he has moments of anger and frustration at the questions asked. Tomas Leach is the Director who has shot this in an expository style documentary, crudely asking questions from behind the camera as Leiter is busy looking though his belongings or taking photos on the street. The documentary is candidly and beautifully shot, with a vintage colour grading.

The documentary itself is broken into 13 lessons in life, based on the content and dialogue shot of Letier as he clears out his New York apartment and talks about his approach to photography. Quite clearly they are distinctly different.
